Welcome to, getting to know us, Robert and Kristine of Power-Up to Live-It-Up Cruising.

Robert and Kristine are not new to traveling all over the United States.
They've been to Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nevada, Tennessee, South Carolina,  Utah, Virginia, Washington State, and Wyoming. They've traveled by a Ford F-150 truck on the US Highways and have flown cross country. We do prefer flying, however driving has brought so many great experiences too though. Flying is faster and somewhat more convenient.

Robert has been to Hawaii and Germany.
Kristine has  been to Canada.

They've now been to, by Royal Caribbean Cruising, Cozumel, Mexico and Costa Maya, Mexico.
​They currently reside in Texas, near the Houston area at a lake house on stilts with a stream, bridge, boathouse, two lakes all in the back yard and two fishing boats to enjoy it all.
Cruise ship are by far vastly larger than their fishing boats, of course. 
As they can merely hop in their fishing boats whenever they want to, however they have to plan and save to sail on a cruise ship. Both are totally worth it though.
Robert has 7 kids - 4 boys and 3 girls.
He's been with a commercial construction company that works with soils and so forth, He's been there for 28 years and will be retiring around 2030, if not sooner.

Kristine has 4 kids - 3 boys and 1 girl.
She retired from being an owner of a massage therapy practice and as a massage therapist back in 2018 due to knee pain. 
She has also been a community health care worker, also.
She's worked as a security officer at Nintendo of America in Redmond Washington. This was during the time of the N64, which her kids received before the rest of the game world got their hands on it.  
She has been playing World of Warcraft on and off since 2007 with her four kids, when Burning crusades came out. She's an alt-oholic, as she has at least 25 level 80s and 4 level 90s. She loves wow professions, housing, questing, and so much more. 

They have a combined total of 11 kids together. 
They have 7 boys and 4 girls and they cover the 90's from 1990 to 1999. 
Kristine lost a set of twins before she met Robert and he has a set of boy/girl twins.

They have 10 grandchildren.
They have many chickens, two roosters, and one beautiful fluffy gray cat.

Their first cruise was on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, the Mariner of the Seas.
This first cruise exceeded both of our expectations beyond our wildest dreams.
On the last day before the end of our cruise Robert stated, "I don't want to go home," as he held my hands and looked me in the eyes. He's never said that during any trip/vacation we've been on together.
It was a 5 day cruise in April of 2026. A birthday cruise for Kristine, purchased at Christmas time in 2025.
It was purchased directly from the Royal Caribbean cruise line website.
They utilized Royal Caribbean's App first to window shop for their dream cruise.
(It's absolutely the BEST App, by far, of all the current cruise line ship Apps).
This is a very true and a very shameless plug.
How do they know this?
Kristine downloaded all of the cruise line apps and that's how she found out this information about which is the best App.

They were on their App daily watching for great cruise sailing deals. and
when they found the "one" they jumped on it. It was the April 2026 - 5 night sailing out of Galveston, Texas.

Kristine watched a vast amount of cruise videos from phenomenal cruise ship content creators and that was extremely beneficial. Their cruise packing essentials were spot on and so helping them have an amazing first cruise. The cruise ship content creators walk through cruise videos were also extremely helpful in understanding the layout of the ship and so much more.

They went from dreaming and watching videos about cruising to having the videos come alive and they walked the Mariner of the Seas and it exceeded expectations. 
That is what sparked the idea to create this website and start their own cruise ship YouTube channel, affiliate program with Amazon, use Amazon KDP and ETSY for Cruise Log journaling books, and the referral program with Ambit Energy.

They are upfront, honest, and transparent with their ulterior motives and that is be able to go on more cruises by all authentic side hustles and legal means possible.
